Fort Worth Distribution Center Operations Manager (November 2013 – Present)

®      Manage over 35 frontline employees, along with day to day operations of the distribution center that ships over 60,000 cases per week.

®      Analyze key performance metrics to improve labor costs, delivered improved cost to serve for internal customers which led to a total people cost reduction of over $7K in the first quarter.

®      Implemented and controlled facility maintenance programs and 5S systems that reduced indirect costs and improved picking efficiency by 5% compared to the previous year and 10% higher than plan.

®      Trained 300-plus soldiers in technical air traffic control maintenance troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

®      Managed the calibration schedule of 172 lines of test equipment approaching $1.2 million in value.

®      Developed a maintenance tracking plan that required that increased the overall course readiness by 10% by synchronizing maintenance needs with the training calendar.

®      Oversaw funeral service team organizing and performing over 60 funeral honors for fallen soldiers and veterans, and revised the installation standard operating procedure for funeral honors.

®      Supervised maintenance for air traffic control systems for multiple airfields for the entire deployment, and ensured 100% readiness at all times.

®      Innovated new cooling methods for Air Traffic Control Tower to prevent equipment from overheating, without any interruptions to airfield operations.
